En 2025, Acción Contra el Hambre lanzó una campaña nacida del corazón de Gaza: Hope 4 Gaza (Esperanza para Gaza). Les pedimos que enviaran mensajes de esperanza y ánimo para que nuestros equipos pudieran transmitirlos en Gaza. Recibimos más de 2.500 mensajes.
Nuestros equipos en todos los Territorios Palestinos Ocupados, desde Gaza hasta Cisjordania, incluyendo Jerusalén Este, y nuestros colegas de todo el mundo —en España, Líbano, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos, Italia y Alemania— se unieron para revelar lo que está en el núcleo de nuestro trabajo: la humanidad que compartimos.
La esperanza para Gaza nunca fue pedir al mundo que la mirara desde lejos; siempre se trató de acercar el mundo a Gaza.
Nuestros equipos han leído y traducido cada mensaje que se envió. Preparamos 2.500 tarjetas para entregarlos en mano junto con los paquetes de alimentos. Pero a lo largo de 2025 —incluso ante las condiciones de hambruna— el entorno operativo hizo imposible este método de entrega. Las restricciones de acceso, la grave inseguridad y los obstáculos para la entrada de la ayuda humanitaria nos impedían llegar a las familias de forma segura y constante. Tuvimos que adaptarnos.
Así que transformamos estos mensajes en un archivo digital , accesible para todos, incluidos quienes los dan y los reciben. Al hacerlo, encontramos una nueva forma de dar esperanza, incluso cuando la ayuda no podía.
En noviembre y diciembre de 2025, finalmente pudimos entregar los mensajes en persona. Nuestros equipos en Gaza imprimieron más de 1.000 notas y las pegaron en las comidas calientes distribuidas, un testimonio de la inmutabilidad de las palabras y la amabilidad.
