Despite a ceasefire agreement six months ago in November 2024 in Lebanon, military activity remains intense. More than a million people go hungry in Lebanon amid instability.

A former participant of an Action Against Hunger Shuttle program initiated the project with the goal of promoting the social inclusion of persons with disabilities and to raise public awareness on disability.

12 years ago, Meisun Avdala arrived in Georgia, after having fled her home country of Sudan. In Batumi she found safety and was able to build a new life for herself and her family, learning the language and integrating herself into Georgian society.
