CONFLICTS
WHERE THERE IS CONFLICT, THERE IS HUNGER
Hunger is both a cause and a consequence of conflict. More than 85 per cent of people suffering from hunger crises live in conflict-affected countries, with many of these conflicts rooted in disputes over food, water or the resources needed to produce it. Conflict disrupts harvests, hinders the delivery of humanitarian aid and forces families to flee their homes.
WE SAVE LIVES
While peace is the ultimate solution, it is vital to protect the lives, health and well-being of families affected by conflict and crisis. That's why we work to save lives and prevent hunger in the world's most difficult and complex conflict zones, such as Yemen, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia and Nigeria.
CONFLICT DRIVES HUNGER
To create a world without hunger, for all and forever, we must address the causes and consequences of conflict.

The causes of hunger
Hunger is predictable, preventable and treatable. But to end hunger, we must first understand and address the problems that perpetuate the global hunger crisis.
