From February 24 to 28, 2025, Action Against Hunger conducted a 5-day Training of Coaches (ToC) on the Shuttle methodology, in Dilijan town, located in Tavush province, Armenia.

Thanks to the partnership with the local authorities and UNHCR, in 2024, a total of six playgrounds have been constructed in several provinces in Armenia

Ibrahim, a 45-year-old farmer and livestock keeper, is a father of four living in a village in Aleppo Governorate. Like many others in his community, he has faced huge challenges due to the prolonged conflict in Syria.

The Shuttle programme further plays an important role in the empowerment of different target groups, including people with disabilities. “The programme has made me more courageous. I am a woman with disabilities."

Supporting the socio-economic inclusion and employment promotion of forcibly displaced citizens from Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as vulnerable groups in the community.

Ukrainian women learned to better cope with stressful situations and navigate their emotions, without feeling anxious.

On Friday, January 31st, 2025, Action Against Hunger attended the inauguration of social housing for elderly refugees from Nagorno Karabakh.

In partnership with the Health Directorate, which deploys medical teams to rural regions, Action Against Hunger operates Syria's only dental mobile clinic.

Recognizing the urgent need for healthcare services in such villages, Action Against Hunger has deployed a mobile medical team. This team, equipped with necessary medical supplies and staffed by medical professionals, visits these remote villages.
