ACTION TO COMBAT WORLD HUNGER: INTERNATIONAL NETWORK

The fight against hunger is an international struggle that requires a global vision and the coordinated work of many women and men in all corners of the world.

When, in 1979, a group of men and women decided to join forces in the International Action Against Hunger Network, they could not have imagined the dimensions the organisation would reach. Today there are now more than 8,000 of us working with a worldwide presence in more than 50 countries.

The distribution of project management by country allows us to reduce costs and achieve greater efficiency in our actions. International coordination in the analysis of contexts, in the research of more efficient intervention systems, and in the search for the most appropriate human resources gives us a greater capacity for impact. The international dimension also allows us to reach public opinion more easily. We project our voice across the globe to communicate a common message: hunger has a solution.
